Verona / Garda, second quarter of the 18th century. Rare double serpentine front slant-front desk in original patina and admirable museum conditions of preservation. The piece, in addition to being in practically intact condition, still retains its original polish and, of course, its original patina. It is veneered in walnut and burled walnut, with refined inlays in maple, amaranth, walnut burl and poplar burl. Richly inlaid interior, with a sliding cabinet that hides several secret compartments. Measurements: cm. 123 width x 120 height x 63-73 depth (closed-open). In compliance with the provisions of the New Code of Cultural Heritage, the selling company provides a detailed written photographic guarantee of originality and provenance of the works sold at the time of sale.
