Vienna circa 1820, Rare wardrobe from the first phase of the Viennese Biedermeier period, in practically intact condition, veneered and mirrored in high-quality walnut feather, typical of the splendid woods around Vienna. The master cabinetmakers of the Biedermeier period knew the places where the best trees grew and kept the secret. To obtain veneers with such beautiful patterns, they also knew the best parts of the tree and cut the parts with great skill, obtaining effects with the wood that constitute the particular attractiveness of true Biedermeier furniture and represent a uniqueness and excellence in the world of high antique furniture of all eras. Ebonized details. The furniture can be disassembled, according to the "practical" logic typical of ancient Austrian cabinetmaking, to allow easy transport.
