Austria circa 1820. Drop-front desk in intact Biedermeier period condition, made of solid flamed maple wood with original patina, with ebonized details. Original patina, with shellac finish applied by pad using museum-standard techniques. Measures cm. 114 x 94 x 59. With a warm, light golden/amber patina, ideal for inclusion in a modern decor setting, adding a touch of class to the ensemble.
