Veneered in flowering ash burl, with mirrored veneering to create attractive plays with the grain of the excellent wood, as is typical of Viennese origin. In original warm, "golden" patina and of practical wooden integrity. Consolidated and French polished with museum-standard technique on original patina. Ebonized columns with original lacquer. Vienna 1810-15. Cm.121 wide, depth 63, height 84.
