Description: Antique pair of French blown glass bells, each resting on a round ebonized wood base with three turned feet. Made in the late 1800s, they contain a pair of delightful small 19th-century orange ceramic vases (h. 15 cm) with scalloped edges and two medallions (3x3 cm) with hand-painted floral elements on both sides (photo no. 7). Each small vase, 14 cm high (photo no. 6), has 4 feet integral to its quadrilobed base, measuring 7x7 cm (photo no. 8). Inside each small vase are antique fabric flowers (photo no. 4). The bells, complete with ebonized wood base (photo no. 2), measure 47 cm in height, and the wood alone has a diameter of 22 cm. The antique pair of glass bells is in good condition.
