Splendid and very rare inlaid game table, made of walnut wood and various wood inlays (maple, cherry, plum, etc.), constructed in the Emiliano (Rolo) area, in the second half of the 19th century. A piece of exquisite excellence, with a square and smoothed line, cherry and walnut wood reserves, framing the central motif in field maple in the shape of a fan, with a small maple star in the center, on small walnut lobes.
Unique and enthralling is the particular arrangement, with the opening of cavities on the sides of the top, hidden in the design of the same, with special closing elements, which allowed players to collect the won coins and place them in the personal drawer. Supported by a turned baluster support, with raised rings and a chalice motif, it rests on a foot ending in an ebonized curl, resembling a volatile ending on an ungulate plinth.
Finished and worked on all sides with lunette motif inserts, No restoration recommended. Present, coeval hardware. Interiors and linings in fir. Viewing and possible collection on site appreciated
