300s Aosta Valley pine wood chest.
In the center are three rosettes,
one of which is a four-leaf clover, a symbol not only of luck but also of fidelity and happiness.
Since ancient times, these symbols were already present as solar signs.
Some missing parts on the sides and signs of aging.
The chest needs anti-woodworm treatment.
Provenance: Sarraute family from the city of Carcassonne.
