Stunning brass structure signed STILNOVO and frosted glass lampshade. Measurements: W 22 x D 18 x H 52 cm Italian lighting manufacturer Stilnovo was founded by Bruno Gatta in 1946 in Lainate, on the industrial outskirts of Milan. In the aftermath of World War II, as Italy devoted itself to rebuilding its economy that had been left in dire straits, Gatta and Stilnovo devoted themselves to the production of innovative lighting elements that incorporated rationalism and the principles of forms related to functionalism.
