Antique Florentine foliate chandelier with floral decorations made at the end of the 19th century in gilded wrough iron and six lights. A 1880s Italian chandelier, circular in shape, a richly decorated design with leaves and flowers and a crown with leaf motifs typical of the Florentine Renaissance style. The iron shows traces of antique gilding that gives the chandelier an originality and timeless charm, making it perfect to enrich any room, even a contemporary one. The six lights are illuminated with E14 bulbs, providing a brightness and a warm and cosy atmosphere. The curved iron arms are embellished with buds and flowers pointing downwards. The colacera plates are also handmade as leaf cups. The circular crown below is connected to the upper ring by three uprights with leaf motifs and surmounted by ochre fabric fringes. The indicated height of 90 cm refers to the chandelier including the upper chain and ceiling cup. It can possibly be reduced by removing the four links of the chain; the height of the chandelier measured from the bottom to the ring above the fabric measures 65 cm. The chandelier is in working order and is electrified according to European standards. Good overall condition. Comes from a private villa in Milan. 90 cm high to the cup on the ceiling x 84 diameter.
