Description:
Rare Colantoni RC-1 aerial interception ruler from 1951: it was used on land during World War II until the 1960s. Inside we find the original black tag with the inscription: serial number 03. It is the Italian version of the British Craig Interception Plotter Mk-III (known in the RAF as Craig computer). Equipped with its original wooden case, with a strap in case it was necessary to transport it. Inside we find the light bulb for night lighting. The purpose of this device was to calculate the direction and speed ??of aircraft obtained from the PPI (position indicator plan). Inside there are no explanations for use: I found them online and you can see them in photograph No. 10. The ruler is in excellent condition: it has never been used.
