Art Nouveau card holder made of 800 silver.

Rare Art Nouveau (1895 - 1915) business card holder made of solid 800/1000 silver of rectangular shape with rounded edges, with splendid relief decoration with flowers, animals and insects, different on each side. Produced in China for the European market, it bears the French "Cygne" (swan) hallmark used since July 1, 1893 (to 1970) for 800 silver objects from countries with which the French State had no trade agreements. Furthermore, the signature (both in Chinese and European characters) of the famous silversmith from Shanghai, Luen Wo, active between 1880 and 1940, is present. In excellent condition, it weighs approximately 135 grams and measures approximately 10.2 x 7.5 x 0.7 cm.
