Large overdoor frieze in carved and gilded wood, Italy, second quarter of the 19th century. The oval upper part depicts a wreath held by a ribbon in the lower section and resting on bundles of mirrored, crossed acanthus volutes, also held by a ribbon. The lower section is ornamented with an ovoidal Greek key pattern. Missing parts in the carving and gilding.
