Description: Neapolitan Louis Philippe mirror from the first half of the 19th century, entirely sculpted, carved, and gilded with gold leaf. The mirror is a triumph of carved wood with a movement that develops from the bottom up, where it is possible to appreciate all its refinement. The crest is a succession of rocaille volutes. Two feet with a rocaille motif contribute to the elegance and refinement of this splendid object. The mirror is made of mercury glass and is contemporary with the wooden frame.
