Magnificent Emilian-Romagna Louis XV flip-top desk with a curved front featuring 3 drawers plus a thin one under the top which, when opened, supports the elegant shaped drop-front serving as a writing surface. Inside there are 4 wavy small drawers divided by a central door. The piece of furniture, of remarkable beauty and excellent cabinet-making level, is entirely veneered on the entire external and internal surface in veined walnut arranged symmetrically to outline the splendid burr walnut reserves. The materials used are of the highest quality, expertly arranged on all sides of the furniture in order to highlight the magnificent colors of the wood species. The optical effect rendered by the variegated grains of the walnut is truly surprising and certifies that the furniture was intended for a client of high social class. The conditions of the furniture are excellent. We propose it as found to fix the small imperfections later if deemed necessary by the customer.
