Interesting example of a Caucasian Garebagh kilim, with a rich floral composition in warm tones on a classic dark background. As I have already explained, these were kilims that Russian nobles had woven in the Caucasus, copying the stylistic motifs of the Aubusson carpets at the Tsar's court.
