Rare table with shaped top and legs, in Boulle style with a central drawer, 19th century.
The Boulle style is named after the famous French cabinetmaker André-Charles Boulle, active in the 17th century.
The table is entirely inlaid in the Boulle style, with particular attention to detail. The inlays feature golden phytomorphic volutes on a black background.
The furniture is enriched with bronze decorations depicting cherubs at the corners of the legs and in the center of the drawer.
The table requires restoration, which will be carried out by our professional restorers.
