Set of 4 19th-century Sardinian walnut chairs with original straw seat and love knot.

Description: Antique set consisting of 4 chairs with love knot, hand-carved: made of solid honey walnut in the late 1800s. The original woven straw seat measures cm.39x34, the height to the back is cm.86, to the seat cm.44. Called chairs with a love knot because of the interweaving in the backrest (photo #3): very common in Sardinia, they were made in both Liguria and Piedmont.
