Antique Lombard writing desk with riser, in walnut veneer and threads

Elegant Lombard writing desk from the Napoleon III period (1852/70). Designed and created to satisfy the most demanding requests, this set of movements is entirely veneered in walnut burl, threaded from the base crossbar to the upper cabinet, in rooted cherry wood flanked by a second thread in maple wood. Further enrichments can be found in refined carvings on the bases and brass inserts, such as object holders, typical of the style. Rare, intact and recommended piece of furniture.
