Finely modeled and painted in polychrome porcelain. A couple of lovers, sitting on a flower meadow, exchange romantic tenderness. With one hand she gestures to caress his face, while he offers her a freshly picked flower. The gentle lady also gives him a small bunch of grapes. A gallant and delicate scene enclosed in a bucolic context of rare harmony where the protagonists are at the center of the scene surrounded by delightful white goats and a nature rich in flowers. To their left, a child is having fun playing with a curious goat. All the characters are outlined with miniaturistic refinement. The mark, which is inside the base, is of Derby Porcelain and in particular refers to the Royal Crown Derby.
