The structure is made of "en bois naturel" oak. The top, slightly curved and curvilinear, has a green leather insert, stamped in gold along the border. On the front, the cabinet has two side drawers. The four legs are arched and give lightness to the overall composition. The feet have gilded and chiseled bronze tips in the shape of a feline paw and plant ornaments. The entire desk is embellished with gilded and finely chiseled bronze applications: borders along the profiles and handles with rocaille ornaments composed of volutes and phytomorphic elements. Very particular and of great effect are the four all-round gilded bronze applications on the uprights of the legs. These are finely chiseled bronze sculptures with leaves and volutes centered by a flowering rose branch. The refinement of the decorative elements makes this desk very pleasant, light in its whole and easily adaptable to any environment. Its predisposition as a center table, moreover, allows it to be used in any furnishing situation combined with antique but also modern furniture.
