This important vase is the result of the collaboration between Moritz Hacker (Budapest 1849-1932), court jeweller, and Johann Loetz Witwe, an important manufacturer of artistic glass from Klostermühle, Bohemia, Austria-Hungary. Johann Loetz's works are among the most important examples of Art Nouveau. The vase bears the Moritz Hacker mark under the base.
