Elegant circular column on a square plinth. The column is entirely veneered in walnut, with a yellow Siena marble top and a green Prato marble edge. The furniture piece serves both as a support for an object or lamp and as a bedside table, as it can be opened via a door. The simplicity of the neoclassical forms and the use of materials suggest that this piece dates back to the early 19th century and was manufactured in Tuscany.
