Extremely rare and exceptional Empire console containing an altar, originating from a lavish Tuscan villa. The exterior is veneered and ebonized, with gilded bronze capitals. The interior is decorated and lacquered, with a splendid Annunciation at the center enclosed by a pure gold frame.
