This portrait has always held a special charm for me, perhaps because of the gaze of the young man depicted. I don't know who the painter is, but he was certainly good. I have never chosen a painting for the author's signature, but for the sensations it conveyed to me. The frame is also old and rare.
There are some small restorations in the canvas, but let's not forget that there have been two World Wars in Europe.
