BRONZE SCULPTURE "BATHING VENUS" EARLY 19TH CENTURY
Description:
Beautiful bronze sculpture made with the lost wax technique, depicting a Bathing Venus. The Bardiglio red marble base adds a touch of elegance and refinement to the work. The sculpture, from the early 19th century, realistically depicts the goddess Venus: the soft and sinuous body is modeled with great mastery, while the facial expression is delicate and serene. The Bathing Venus is depicted covering her breasts with one arm and her lower abdomen with a veil that reaches her feet, creating an atmosphere of intimacy and modesty. The author of the sculpture is H.S. München, whose signature is visible on the base of the work. It is a work of art of great value and beauty, which conquers the viewer with its grace and artistic perfection. Measurements: HxWxD 28 x 8 x 8 cm
