Splendid oil on canvas painting by EMMA CIARDI, signed and dated 1912, depicting characters in the foreground with a glimpse of a Venetian Palladian Villa and in the background a fountain with moving water.
The painting is considered one of her best masterpieces, as it was exhibited at the YSHELD AT LEICESTER GALLERYS in London in 1913.
