Spectacular antique chest of drawers from the Lombardy-Emilian area, early Empire style with a simple design, two and a half drawers, early 1800s. Handles and leaf applications on the uprights in bronze. Of very high quality, completely veneered in walnut on solid poplar wood. Nails, boards, and hardware all original to the period. Completely restored, maintaining the patina and finished with beeswax.
