The six chairs and two armchairs, made of fine mahogany wood, were crafted in France, in the Louis XVI or Directoire style, between the late 19th century and the early 20th century. The backrest has a distinctive design with a lyre motif, while the shaped seat creates an elegant compositional movement. Small gilded bronze flower appliques.
The graceful and elegant lines, as well as the sturdiness and solidity of the wooden structure, make the chairs and armchairs perfectly usable, ideal both around an antique or modern table, or equally well placed against a wall.
