This refined and important pair of armchairs was made around the mid-18th century in Venice in carved and gilded wood and reflects typical Venetian Rococo stylistic dictates.
They are distinguished by their elegance in the flowing forms: the seat is supported by a moving and carved band with rocaille elements as is the backrest. The legs are arched and the foot carved. The armrests, curved and shaped, contribute to give a particularly harmonious line.
The armchairs, which can be placed together or individually, are very decorative both in an entrance or in a living room and in a bedroom.
