I love flowers: when I can't have them fresh, I admire them in my paintings. This painting has been relined, but let's not forget that there were two world wars in Europe and the canvas had probably suffered damage. The frame is always strictly antique, when it is no longer the original one. Illegible signature at the bottom right.
