Finely veneered and inlaid desk, Genoa, 18th century Measurements: h 74 x d 54 x W 85 cm Price: private negotiation item accompanied by a certificate of authenticity The elegant eighteenth-century desk, Genoese manufacture, Louis XV period, is finely veneered and inlaid in rosewood. It has a pleasant wavy line with slender but solid legs. On the front, the large drawer has an original knob in gilded bronze. The legs end with original tips in finely chiseled gilded bronze. The back is well finished, making the placement of the furniture pleasant even as a center console. The top is lined with green leather, with a gilded reserve decoration.
