Ferruccio Rontini was a Tuscan painter. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and immediately dedicated himself to painting natural landscapes from life. In Livorno he met Ugo Manaresi and Renuccio Renucci and in 1919 he settled in the Maremma, where he created his first works with scenes of the countryside, thickets, farmhouses, and herds. In 1920 he became one of the founders of the Labrico Group and in the same year he exhibited in various exhibitions in the city. Other solo exhibitions followed in Livorno and other cities in northern Italy, which were very successful.
