Rare antique Italian prie-dieu, mid-17th century, full Baroque Louis XIV period. Made of solid walnut with relief decorations carved in the wood on the front panel. Clear taste of Piedmontese Baroque cabinet making. In the part dedicated to the knees there is a compartment. Of great value is all the hand-forged and coeval iron hardware, fantastic large antique keys of the 17th century. Excellent state of preservation. This fantastic prie-dieu is a piece of history that could be exhibited in a museum.
