Description:
Elegant Pembroke table of English manufacture dating back to the second half of the 19th century, characterized by a refined shaped oval top, so-called "Biscuit," in rosewood veneered wood.
This fine piece of furniture is characterized by the signature of the renowned brand Thomas Atkin & Son, engraved on the brass element located under the top with a registration date: August 6, 1866, Birmingham.
The top is supported by a central solid wood leg, beautifully carved, which ends with three superbly worked feet, equipped with brass castors.
Since this is an antique item, the possibility that small pieces of veneer or signs of aging on the patina may be missing is not excluded.
A Certificate of Authenticity is issued.
