This elegant table, made in France between the late 18th and early 19th centuries, is finely veneered in rosewood.
The oval top features geometric designs that create chromatic effects obtained through the skillful inlay of rosewood, bordered by a thin frame. The under-top band laterally displays a drawer with a gilded bronze knob. The four slightly arched legs are set projecting out from the under-top band. They end with gilded bronze tips finely chiseled with rocaille decorations. The legs are connected at the bottom by a second support surface, also worked like the upper one.
With beautiful proportions and a graceful and elegant line, this center table can be placed in any room of your home, whether between two sofas or armchairs in a living room, or next to a wall in a study or entrance hall. It can also be displayed in the bathroom or bedroom depending on your needs. The splendid color of the rosewood and the fine chromatic play make it extremely decorative, suitable next to antique and modern furnishings.
