The precious carved frame, rectangular in shape, is called "a cassetta". The carvings are particularly rich and elaborate. The external perimeter part is characterized by a foliage decoration, inside which there is a carving of decorations with fruits and leaves. The central part shows a refined carving with vine shoots and bunches of grapes, while the internal band has a geometric motif decoration. Thanks to the perfect symmetry of the carvings, the mirror can be presented both vertically and horizontally.
