The scene is very beautiful and depicts a young Virgin with particularly fine features watching over the sleeping Child.
It is a very elegant work with a splendid color range, certainly executed by an Emilian Master to satisfy the request of a private client.
The frame is of great thickness, entirely in pure gold with a light burin decoration and gives importance to the painting, making it very effective on the wall.
The painting has been cleaned and perfectly relined and is in excellent condition.
