Jesper Neergaard is a Danish sculptor who grew up in Copenhagen. After studying medicine, philosophy, art history and languages, he graduated in literature from the University of Copenhagen.
He has been active as a sculptor since 1974, with exhibitions and important commissions in many European and non-European countries.
He has also published works of fiction and articles on art.
His monograph shows him as a unique sculptor, with openings towards the upper and deeper layers of the human mind and towards the modern understanding of reality.
