Small antique English Victorian writing desk from the 1800s

DESCRIPTION This extraordinary English Victorian style center desk dating back to the late 1800s is made of precious finely threaded rosewood, embellished with six inlaid drawers with a garland motif, complete with brass knobs. The central part is decorated with a fretwork carving. The top is covered in bordeaux leather with pure gold edges and equipped with a drawer with a drop-leaf top finished with a rail containing compartments for stationery. A rare work of extraordinary beauty. The desk has been recently restored and is in good condition.
