Roman neoclassical console, gilded in the typical pale gold leaf. Decorations in carved wood with vegetal motifs, mask within two hippogriffs and heads of Roman emperors at the corners. Original top plated in antique yellow marble, bordered in antique green (restored in the early 1900s). The gilding is all original with the classic yellow bole, typically Roman. Rome circa 1780.
