The wooden structure is entirely veneered, and the top, as well as the central and side undertop bands, are lacquered with chinoiserie designs. On the top, against a black background, a lake landscape is depicted, with houses, mountains and lush plants. The undertop bands, also with a black background, have decorations with polychrome leafy and floral motifs. On the front it has a drawer with gilded bronze rings for opening. All around the top runs a railing element in gilded and perforated bronze. Other elements in chiseled and gilded bronze decorate the front and sides, the origin of the four legs, in the shape of an inverted pyramid trunk, and the quadrangular tips.
