Description:
Unique Italian tilting processional lantern from the Liberty period, presumably Venetian, made of hand-painted tin and enriched with ornaments such as flowers, leaves, and curls.
Inside, there is a hole for the candle. It is complete with a wooden rod from an earlier period (mid-19th century) and a wooden ferrule.
As shown in the photos, the object shows signs of wear, missing glass and some pieces of the ornaments.
The wooden rod has holes due to woodworm.
