Splendid pair of 16th-century wrought iron andirons.

We present this beautiful pair of wrought iron andirons produced in central Italy in the second half of the 16th century. They are characterized by a regular shape that opens into small and fine volutes in the lower part of the shaft both laterally and frontally. The upper part ends with striking bronze ray knobs. The curved feet have ornamental engravings. The object measurements are: 66cm length x 63cm height x 27cm width.
