This illustration is part of the Supplément au catalog de l'oeuvre gravé de Félicien Rops, by Erastène Ramiro, Paris, Floury, 1895. We see represented a moment of pause from the theatrical performance. On the left, standing in full figure, we can observe a semi-nude woman: she lets the stage dress slide down her sinuous body, while wearing a hat and with her open hands supporting a sort of cloak with fur. Her proud and fixed gaze is directed towards an elegant man, seated on an armchair, captured in left profile, who calmly observes the woman's body. Behind him, standing, is an older woman with an austere pose and face, turning her gaze to the viewer. The light comes from the light bulb hanging in the center. Engraved signature, at the bottom right.
Excellent state of preservation, wide margins. Example in the I/II state with the remarques engraved in soft ground under the image.
