Splendid 17th-century solid walnut chest of drawers with 4 drawers

Beautiful chest of drawers with 4 drawers in solid walnut wood of significant size. The furniture features a canted setting at the front corners, which adds a certain charm to the piece. The pilasters have carved round rods called "sword point" and terminate in the upper and lower parts in elements resembling capitals. Papal State area, second half of the 17th century. Finely shaped at the base and in the undertop. It has beautiful carved frames on the sides. Furthermore, the iron fittings of the eyelets in the locks are suggestive and depict cherubs holding shields. Its dimensions are approximately 153cm x 75cm deep x 110cm high.
