Franco Asco, after the figurative period, began his path of synthesis of form, often turning his gaze to the observation of the female body, blurring and merging the profiles of the forms, their sinuosity, dissolving the angularity; this research will lead him to an increasingly hermetic language and apparently turned to abstraction, even if it could be more correctly said that it turns to a revisited surrealism, with elegant references to Wildt's symbolism.
