Franco Asco, after the figurative period, began his path of synthesis of form, often turning his gaze to the observation of the female body, blurring and merging the profiles of the forms, their sinuosity, dissolving their angularity; this research will lead him to an increasingly hermetic language apparently aimed at abstraction, although it could be more correctly stated that it turns towards a revisited surrealism, with elegant references to Wildt's symbolism.
