Beautiful nativity scene composed of 12 dolls with very well-detailed and expressive heads and hands in polychrome terracotta. There are also some other small elements such as baskets of flowers and small animals. Neapolitan area, first half of the 19th century. The group is divided into 2 parts in terms of the quality of execution. In fact, 6 are of high quality as you can see from the photos, and another 6 are more basic, but still interesting. The dolls are provided with very well-made and complete beautiful clothes. The measurements range from about 22 to 30 cm. The dolls are in very good condition, some are missing only a few fingers, but some are complete. We wish to sell the complete lot. We attach a certificate of authenticity to the sale.
