This small central bench was made in the Venetian Rococo style around the early 20th century. The structure is made of carved, lacquered, and gilded wood, and the seat is upholstered in fabric. The band under the seat is lacquered in an ochre tone. It also features some decorations made of cast plaster that give three-dimensionality and relief, painted in polychrome and depicting small architectures of oriental taste and floral motifs. It ends with a carving of gilded rocaille motifs. The six legs are curved and arched. They also feature the same carvings, lacquering, and polychrome decorations.
The bench is very decorative and pleasing thanks to its light coloring. It can be placed in any furnishing context, placing it in an entrance hall or corridor, in a living room or study even in the center of the room, but also in a bedroom.
The possible replacement of the seat lining fabric is facilitated by the possibility of completely removing the seat, anchored to the structure by six screws.
