Item Description
Work table, in walnut. Small piece of furniture consisting of four turned columns, resting on two shaped elements, joined together by a crossbar, also turned. The four columns support a parallelepiped element, characterized by a band, frontally equipped with a drawer, subdivided internally into compartments. The top, enclosed in a slightly shaped frame, has beveled corners to follow the facet of the underlying band. The decoration entrusted to the top highlights the burr walnut, mirrored which, through the rich shades creates a pleasant design. The furniture has all the characteristics of work tables (for ladies' embroidery), typical of the 19th century, very light in proportions and has a pleasing impact.
